Assignment of Program Code "Q6" to track Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 Funds Global Peacekeeping Operations Initiative (GPOI), Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) Policy 16-42 [SAMM E-Change 323]

Effective immediately, Program Code "Q6" is assigned to track FY 2016 funds provided to conduct or support a program or programs under Global Peacekeeping Operations Initiative (GPOI). Division K, Title I, Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2016 (P.L. 114-113) provides funding for this authority through September 30, 2020 if the funds are obligated initially by September 30, 2016. Management and execution of FY 2016 GPOI (Q6) programs will comply with guidance provided in the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), Chapter 15.

Instructions for preparation of Q6 LOA documents are found in the SAMM, Table C15.3. Standard notes applicable to BPC programs are found in the SAMM, Appendix 6, LOA Notes Listing. Funding associated with Q6 LOAs will be fully expended and Q6 cases will be reconciled and closed as soon as possible, but no later than two months before the funds cancellation date.
